Faculty can submit a purchase recommendation to help librarians select resources to support student and faculty research and instruction.
Requesting Library Orientation & Instruction
Our librarians and archivists can provide library instruction, training and orientation sessions for you or your class.
Faculty can request any of these by completing the Library Instruction and Orientation request form below or by calling our Information Services Desk at 404.978.2067. For instruction with an archivist call 404.978.2052.
To accommodate preparation time, staffing, and training lab availability, your request should be submitted at least one week before the date you want the session scheduled. A librarian or archivist will contact you regarding your request.
A request to use instruction space at the library must always involve a library/research instruction component, and faculty members requesting library instruction must accompany the class.
Request Instruction and Orientation
Faculty can submit a course reserves request to place books, chapters, articles, and more on reserve for students to access.
We provide dedicated service to our faculty, including course reserves, instruction, research data management, and open access publishing.
