“The People’s Mayor: Maynard Jackson and the Politics of Transformation” is a digital exhibit that highlights photographs and documents detailing Maynard Jackson’s personal life as well as his sixteen years in elected office, developed from the Maynard Jackson Mayoral Administrative Records archival collection. Included in the exhibit are various materials from his political campaigns, photographs, and documents significant to development throughout Atlanta. The collection and exhibition offer insight into the fascinating and complex political life of one of Atlanta’s most impressive leaders.
