Review library policies to understand how the library creates a safe and respectful academic learning environment for all visitors.
Sustainability
The Brawley Greenscape and Pedestrian Parkway extended the Library’s footprint by turning the 2.5 acre grassy lot across from the main entrance into an inviting landscape for teaching, learning and social engagement. Student leaders (pictured above) from the four AUC institutions cut the ribbon and officially opened the space for use in 2016.

- Recycling Program
To minimize our organization’s lasting impression on the planet, we have developed a recycling program to separate and properly dispose mixed recyclables along with paper products. We also strive to purchase items produced from recyclable materials to promote the use and benefits of reused items. Recycling bins have been placed on each floor throughout our facility, accepting tin, aluminum and steel cans, paper, cardboard, plastic and glass.
- Paper Policy
Our Library strives to print all publications and materials on paper that is FSC-Certified and produced with at least 10% recycled material. This includes our brochures, reports, signage –and even our copy paper!
